Meet Evelyn Pentikis, Esq.: As an attorney-mediator, I bring legal knowledge to the table while maintaining strict neutrality. While I do not act as your attorney during mediation, my background ensures that the agreements we craft are practical, comprehensive, and built to last.
Evelyn is a member of the New Jersey Bar. Her background includes large firm (insurance defense) and general practice experience, where she handled a variety of matters from divorce to real estate closings. She was also a law clerk to the Honorable Albert J. Snite, Jr. of the First Judicial District of Philadelphia. She is a Rule 1:40 qualified Civil Mediator and a Rule 1:40 qualified Divorce/Family Mediator. She is a Court-Approved Civil Roster Mediator in New Jersey.
Evelyn is currently in the Divorce Mediation Apprenticeship Program with the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators. She also is a Mediator with the New Jersey Courts Mediation Program (Special Civil, Small Claims and Municipal). This steady experience in both civil and family matter mediations enhances Evelyn’s skills at being an effective process expert regardless of the subject matter.
Evelyn is a graduate of Temple University School of Law where she was a member of the Environmental Law and Technology Journal and published the following article: Kousoubris, Evelyn D. (1995) “Computer Animation: Creativity in the Courtroom,” Temple Environmental Law & Technology Journal 14: 257–75.
Most importantly, Evelyn is the mother of two sons who are college-recruited athletes, and two dogs. In her free time she likes to travel, hike, paint, write fiction, and practice her photography (all photos and art on site are hers). Her favorite past time is to hang out with her kids in between their busy schedules. Evelyn raised her family in the early years in Malibu, California and then in Rumson, New Jersey. She is originally from Lancaster, PA. She is a first generation Greek-American.
P8 Mediations, LLC was founded to help people in conflict resolve disputes with intention and with purpose. The name P8 embodies the essence of transformation and growth, two key elements Evelyn believes are necessary to reach a successful resolution. On a deeper level, every action she takes in a mediation is in an effort to reduce the pain and suffering of the individuals involved in the chaos of their dispute. By utilizing tried and tested tools and by tapping into her natural empathetic and personable nature, Evelyn will help activate the power of each party to resolve their differences themselves and start anew. Divorce is often a grueling process, and takes a huge emotional and financial toll on all parties. It’s worse when it’s drawn out in lengthy and costly court battles. Nowadays NJ courts encourage mediation as it has become an effective and mainstream way of streamlining the dissolution process.
The mediation process may begin with chaos and confusion, but Evelyn guarantees it will end with clarity and peace so that you can begin the new chapter of your life.
Expert Guidance, Neutral Ground.
